Flotilla 30-5, Warroad MN
Division 30, 9th District Central Region
Welcome to the Red River & Northwest Minnesota
Flotilla 30-5 website. We serve the boating community of the
Red River Valley and the Lake of the Woods in northern Minnesota
along the international border with Canada.
The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed civilian component
of the Coast Guard established by Congress in 1939 to assist in promoting
boating safety. It includes nearly 40,000 members from all walks of
life who receive special training as an integral part of Coast Guard Forces.
Auxiliarists assist the Coast Guard in non-law enforcement programs such as
public education, vessel safety checks, safety patrols, search and rescue,
marine environmental education and protection and Coast Guard Academy
introduction programs for youth. Auxiliarists donate more than 4 million
hours annually to benefit other boaters and their families. That’s why we’re
called --- America's Volunteer Lifesavers
